The farm animals consist of a herd of 40 mainly Welsh Black suckler cows and a flock of 200 Welsh mountain sheep. The cats and our two dogs 'Bych' and 'Fflei' seem to be the favourites of many guests however.

Surrounded by green fields on all sides, Byrdir provides a peaceful retreat from modern life. Take time to relax in tranquil surroundings or choose to explore the stunning mountains and coastline. Sit by a stream with a good book and a glass of wine or cycle up the side of a mountain on a bike.

The house overlooks the beautiful Cambrian coastline. Following, what can often be stunning sunsets, the distant flash of Bardsey lighthouse can be seen at the tip of the Llyn Peninsula.
